Further information
The "cathedral of bullfighting", from the inside
We step onto the sand of the ring, walk through the horse yard and the courtyard where the cuadrillas (the bullfighters' teams) get ready, see the chapel where the matadors pray and the infirmary, and finish at the Bullfighting Museum. Along the way: the bullring's Neo-Mudéjar architecture and how a bullfight works – the three tercios (acts), the protocol and each person's role. Bullfighting is a controversial subject and we treat it as such: with facts and without preaching.
