Flying over Toledo
Discover the City of the Three Cultures from a breathtaking perspective. Float above the old town of Toledo, encircled by the Tagus and crowned by the Alcázar: a rare chance to see El Greco's city from the air.
Toledo is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and from above you understand why. You can see the battlements of the Alcázar, the bulk of the Primate Cathedral and the curves of the river in its gorge. And you see them all together: the synagogues, mosques and churches that tell of centuries of shared history.
How the morning goes
The flight lasts about an hour and is part of a three- to four-hour adventure:
- Preparation: pre-flight briefing and the ritual of inflating the balloon, which is more impressive than it sounds.
- The flight: at sunrise, rising to around 1,000 metres, with bird's-eye views of monuments such as the Alcántara Bridge.
- The celebration: a traditional toast with cava or wine after landing.
- The brunch: a country-style breakfast to share what you have just experienced.
- Souvenirs: a "first flight" certificate and a professional photo and video package.
Logistics
- Take-off point: La Peraleda fairground, a few minutes from the old town.
- Small groups: up to 20 passengers, with the pilot-guide explaining what you see: heritage, nature and adventure all at once.
